International Foxtrot music!

Description:

Considered the most difficult dance in which to master musicality in the International Standard category, the Foxtrot is the picture of elegance, control and rhythmical interpretation. This is a great dance to explore expression, as the character of the music can range from humorous, to graceful, to sensual.  Discovering how to use the slow and quick rhythms in the patterns with the music is what makes it such a challenge.

The International style Foxtrot is sometimes referred to as Slow Foxtrot to distinguish it from it's cousins, the slightly faster American Smooth Foxtrot, and the much faster International Quickstep. The music styles of all 3 "foxtrots" are similar in that they are born from the Big Band era music, which have predominant use of brass and percussive instrumentation.
