DanceSport Place owners, Erik & Melissa Cyr, are currently working on the new reality TV series "You Can Dance!" Each has been paired with two amateur contestants, who will be training and performing their dance routines to be competed on the show.
You Can Dance! TV Series Set to Start

The pilot episode for a new reality show, "You Can Dance!", for Vietnamese television has been picked up and is set to begin production. The show comes from the vision of Vietnamese dance group Dansation, a group of amateur ballroom and dancesport enthusiasts.
"So You Think You Can Dance" Canada

Canada’s version of the hit show “So You Think You Can Dance” premiered on August 11th and has now whittled down the audition hopefuls to the top 20. Among those is ballroom dancer Anthony Grafton, trained by leading amateur dancesport coaches, Martin Lefebvre and wife Diana Matiaszow of Calgary.

Erik and I were guests of renowned choreographer, Jean Marc Genereux, at this week’s taping of “SYTYCD”. It was interesting to see how the show is filmed and see the dancers perform live and without all the editing and camera angles.
