Your First Dance
this is the gateway to your new life
the first steps you’ll take together as husband and wife
make a graceful entrance

The marriage you are entering into is the most important decision of your life and comes with plenty of decisions to make and arrangements to be made. Of course the wedding day itself is filled with excitement, activity and maybe even a little nervousness. That’s why our goal is to make one of the events on your special day, your first dance, worry-free and a moment in this busy day to just hold each other and bask in the reality that you’ve done it—you’ve married the love of your life!

Let’s back up a few months:

You’re busily planning each detail of this momentous occasion and your first dance should receive as careful consideration as anything else. A bride may also be planning a special dance with her father or maybe the groom wants a spotlight dance with his mom. We can help to make you look and feel smooth and graceful. After all, when the wedding day is over, you’ll have beautiful memories of the flowers, location and dresses, but even years after, you’ll still be able to share your dancing with one another.

Getting Started
First, choose a song. Do you have a special song already? Or do you have a theme for your wedding that could determine a certain song or music genre? Maybe you have no idea what song to pick! Don’t worry; we have plenty of appropriate song suggestions for any style or musical taste.
Next, start your dance lessons! It is never too early to begin practicing, in fact the sooner the better. Preparing early on will prevent “cramming” and by the time the big day arrives, it will be one less thing to think about. As with any physical activity, the body needs time to get used to new movement before it becomes second nature. That’s the goal—to look and feel natural and at ease.
Imagine the delight of your guests when they see you enjoying yourselves on your first dance! Sure you could just go on the floor and sway to the music for three minutes, but what a treat for them, and for the two of you, to do it with style.
